Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineer to enhance and optimize our metadata management environment built on OpenMetadata. The role will focus on developing connectors, improving ingestion pipelines, strengthening system reliability, and integrating with a modern data stack including ECS, Airflow, and Python-based solutions.

Requisitos

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom OpenMetadata connectors for ingestion and integration.

• Orchestrate workflows with Airflow and optimize pipelines for scalability and automation.

• Develop backend features in Python for connector development and API integration.

• Manage ECS deployments, monitoring, and system reliability.

• Enhance data lineage capture, storage, and retrieval across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/platform engineering roles with hands-on OpenMetadata experience.

• Proficiency in ECS, Airflow, and Python development.

• Strong background in API integration and connector development.

• Experience with RDS, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, and container orchestration.

• Proven track record delivering scalable, production-grade solutions.
